Cho Commits to Portage College

We are pleased to announce forward Seungpyo "Greener" Cho has accepted an athletic scholarship to play Canadian University hockey with Portage College in the ACAC! A fan favorite in Vernal, Greener recorded 89 points and 137 PIM in 71 career games at the USPHL Premier level while winning three Northwest Division championships and a National championship. "Greener is a favorite of our staff, and we are so proud of him for this achievement," said GM David Imonti. "He was one of the first players to trust what we were trying to accomplish here in Vernal, and bought in from day one. His growth both on and off the ice during his time in an Oilers jersey was special to see and his dreams reflected those of our program. His hard work has paid off, and he's leaving us as a National Champion who earned a college scholarship."
